I would like to know can a Leave and License agreement be made for more than 11 months or at least automatic renewable upon expiry of each 11 months, unless either party terminate the same ? Thanks Kartik Tiwari

I think its always best to make Leave & License Agreement for 11 months and add a
clause that the same can be renewed for similar period with mutual consent or subject
to written approval of Lisensor. But we are hearing a news that the Govt of
Maharashtra is trying to amend the fixed stamp duty for Leave & License Agreement
to make it even higher like a Flat Purchase Agreement. That way even renting a flat
for need ones will become a dear dream for both the Licenssor and the Licensee.
